A musical celebration and fundraising charity event benefiting ACLD

It certainly was “Showtime” at “The Greatest Giving on Earth” Long Island Elite charity event held on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Oheka Castle. All proceeds from this spectacular event will support and benefit LIE’s 2018 Charity Partner—ACLD and their RewearAble program.
As always, this was not your typical charity event. The Victorian Era circus of The Greatest Showman was chosen as this year’s theme. Inspired by the imagination of P. T. Barnum, “The Greatest Showman” is an original musical that celebrates the birth of show business. It tells the story of a visionary who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a worldwide sensation.
Long Island Elite gives thanks to its presenting sponsor Petro Home Services for the “The Greatest Giving on Earth” event. Their generosity made a tremendous impact on the evening and all 300 people who attended.
Guests traveled back in time to the turn of the century as a new form of entertainment broke out throughout the evening. The curiosities and oddities of the world, usually hidden from public eye, came center stage and were celebrated. Performers of all kinds showcased their talents under the big top in the main ballroom of Oheka Castle…expressing their individuality through their art.
The evening included passed hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, a lavish display of food, Oheka Castle’s famous dessert room, live music, fun-filled entertainment and amazing raffles and prizes. Guests were encouraged to dress in the evening’s theme, and they didn’t disappoint.
